Finance Analytics · AI Engineering & Enablement
Finance analyst who builds the tooling finance runs on. I author the
agent skills my team invokes by name, ship Python applications in production, and have
owned FP&A for a $1.3B technology OpEx portfolio. AI-assisted
development is my primary workflow rather than an accessory: I design the workflow,
write the prompt, and validate the output before it reaches a stakeholder. The rare
part is the translation layer — I speak to the model and to the senior finance
leader who has never opened a terminal.

Strategic Finance Senior Associate · R&D Strategic Finance
Finance partner to the R&D organisation, owning the financial models
behind infrastructure spend as the product portfolio moves into lines with different
cost structures and pricing constructs.
- Own bottoms-up infrastructure forecasts and actuals tracking, translating
cost drivers into narratives Engineering and Product leadership act on.
- Develop unit cost frameworks for product lines operating outside the current
pricing model, including cost attribution and margin structure for AI-native
product experiences.
- Partner with Engineering on infrastructure investment decisions and cost efficiency,
and establish month-end reporting processes with Accounting.

Oct 2024 – Oct 2026
Financial Analyst, R&D · Technology & Infrastructure Finance
Sole FP&A owner for Business Technology & Transformation, a
$1.3B annual OpEx portfolio spanning headcount and non-headcount spend
across cloud, data infrastructure, SRE and AI compute.
- Owned the full planning and reporting cycle: annual operating plan, 18-month rolling
forecast, monthly reforecast, and budget versus actuals.
- Built the AI compute unit economics model establishing roughly $2 to $3 of
supporting infrastructure cost per $1 of direct LLM spend, and identified utilisation
as the primary risk driver in build-versus-rent decisions.
- Built the seat-level usage model that let Procurement commit to forecasted
consumption in a vendor contract negotiation, securing a 12% discount.
- Replaced recurring manual analysis with governed Snowflake pipelines and
automated SQL, plus the Tableau and Streamlit layer engineering leaders use for
self-service visibility into spend against budget.
- Owned headcount planning and fully loaded run-rate builds by job profile and
position: salary, sign-on, bonus and fringe.

FP&Ai Weekly Stand Up
Internal program · founded and run by me
Recurring program getting an FP&A team onto agentic tooling: Claude Code extensions
in Cursor, MCP server setup from the terminal, and governed Snowflake connections so
analysts pull data through Claude instead of rebuilding variance waterfalls by hand.
Finance Agent Skill Library
YAML + Markdown · 5 skills · production
Invokable skills encoding run-rate builds, budget template QA, Snowflake variance, ROI
cases and post-investment lookback. A non-technical analyst invokes one by name and gets
analyst-quality output from a single prompt.
ROI Calculation Engine
Python, type-hinted · actively maintained
Shares a constants file and input contract with a parallel JavaScript engine, with
numerical parity enforced by golden-fixture tests. Unsupported inputs raise rather than
silently returning a different number than the web app.
Finance Chat API · Team MCP Servers
FastAPI, Anthropic SDK, Snowflake
A service answering finance questions against the warehouse, with prompt, scope and
routing in separate modules. Plus MCP servers exposing governed finance data to AI agents
as shared team infrastructure.
